Bookings
We are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm (last tour). We are not open on weekends when temperatures are very high.
We are closed on the Easter weekend, Australia Day, Anzac Day, King's Birthday and October Labour Day.

Individuals or small groups
​
No bookings are required for Guided tours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm.
Admission Prices are Adults $10.00, Concessions $8.00, Children $2.00.
Small groups are considered to be less than 10 people – for larger groups, bookings are essential, see Group Tours below.
School Groups

Name of School;
Name and contact number for School’s Contact Person;
No. of students and their Stage (note we can accommodate up to 60 students per session, that is up to 120 students over 2 sessions);
Desired date(s);
Any desired change from our normal session times of 10am-11.30am and 12.30pm-2.00pm;
Any mobility issues or additional needs.
Program Prices are $8.00 each for Stages 1 or 2, $10.00 each for Stage 3 – Teachers and parents are Free.

Group Tours (e.g. Seniors, Probus, etc.)

Name and Contact number for Group’s Contact Person;
Number of people attending;
Desired date(s) and times, noting normal tours are between 11am and 3pm;
Any mobility issues or additional needs;
Any interest in Morning Tea or Lunch – if interested, details will be emailed to you.
Admission Prices are $8.00 each for groups of 15 or more – if there are less than 15 people on weekdays, there is a minimum charge of $120.00.
Any Carer, assisting a Disabled Person, is Free.

Directions
Getting to Hambledon Cottage
​
Car: The Google Street view image below shows that parking is available along Gregory Place, either in several designated parking spaces on site, or in the street. Please note that there is a four hour parking limit between Monday and Friday at 8:00am to 6:00pm.
​
Ferry: From the Parramatta Ferry Wharf, head east along the river (Harris Park Heritage Walk). At its end, cross George Street into Purchase Street, and you will find Hambledon Cottage directly in front of you. This walk along the Parramatta River is about 1km taking 15 minutes.
​
Train: An easy walk along the footpaths from Parramatta Station (about 1km taking 15 minutes).
​
Bus: From Parramatta Station at Stand A2, take the M92 to Sutherland. Get off at the second bus stop (Parkes Street opposite Hambledon Cottage Reserve). It operates every 15 minutes (20 minutes on weekends) and it takes about 5 minutes. Alternatively, take the 909 from Stand B1 to Bankstown (it runs every 30 minutes, except Sundays/Public Holidays its every 60 minutes), and get off at the same stop.
